Lamma Studios Artistic Director and soprano vocalist Ola Milena is a versatile and unique artist who combines a classical operatic education with a unique approach to original musicianship, multi-instrumental and songwriting and arranging skills and a holistic and spiritual approach to musical and personal development.
Ola has delighted audiences around the Asia Pacific region with her crystal clear singing tone, acrobatic vocal technique, clarity of expression, and clear intention to improve the world. Singing from an early age, in her native Poland in church, Ola received an Honours Degree of Performance Voice at The New Zealand School of Music in Wellington, where she studied under Jenny Wollerman and Margaret Medlyn. Ola performed as a chorus member in the New Zealand Opera and other professional engagements in New Zealand. However, in 2012 Ola decided to pursue her own original music projects.
Ola then moved to Melbourne, Australia, the region’s creative and artistic capital, and began her own original music project, Senivoda. As the leader of that project, Ola performed all over Australia at music festivals, live music clubs and on television and radio as songwriter, lead vocalist, keyboardist, violinist and guitarist. She also collaborated on numerous other projects and was sought after as an arranger and composer for other artists’ projects.
Ola is a talented and experienced healer, spiritual teacher and vocal coach. She has combined those skills into her unique program of vocal instruction with vocal self-healing and personal development, “Voice Yoga” TM. Through the understanding and improvement of the connection to the voice, Voice Yoga inspires the body, mind and soul. This unique and revolutionary program has helped many singers improve and heal their voices and empowered others to self healing and personal development with the use of the voice as a healing tool.
In 2018 Ola married Lamma Studios director Joshua MacCluer and moved to Hong Kong to live on magical Lamma Island. Lamma Studios is delighted to welcome such a talented artist and healer to our artist roster.
