From Jazz, Blues, Rock, Fusion, Hip-Hop, Funk, R&B, to Acoustic Fingerstyle, Experimental, and Live Electronica, Geoff King Luk is a up and coming yet highly demanded guitarist/bassist/multi-instrumentalist in the dynamic city of Hong Kong. As a member of Lamma Studios’ ensembles La Résistance, One Love, High Hopes and 2084, Geoff is one of Lamma Studios’ most indispensable artists.
Started playing guitar at the age of 12. Mostly self-taught, Geoff received a scholarship to Chicago College of Performing arts, Roosevelt University, studied under world renowned musicians John Moulder, Neal Alger, Henry Johnson, Paul Wertico, and Scott Mason. After school, Geoff spent the next 5 years as a professional musician in Chicago.
Recently moved to Hong King from Chicago, Geoff has since made appearances on national TV (Singer 2018) playing guitar and arranging for Tien Chong. Geoff currently works as artist Tien Chong’s guitarist touring all around Asia. Geoff has also performed at a variety of venues such as Intercontinental Hotel, Wine and Dine Festival, as well as Salon 10 and Peel Fresco Music Lounge.
